Purpose
This Refund Policy describes Sevarat Healthcare and Nursing Pvt Ltd’s (“Sevarat”, “we”, “us”) terms for refunds of fees paid for our healthcare, nursing, training, consultation, and related services.
Scope
This policy applies to all customers, clients, patients, trainees and third parties who purchase services, packages, subscriptions, or training from Sevarat in any format (in-person, telehealth, online courses, or bundled services) unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Definitions
“Service” means any clinical care, nursing service, consultation, training course, or bundled program provided by Sevarat.
“Client” means the person or organization that contracted for or paid for the Service.
General Rule
Fees for Services are non-refundable except as provided in this policy or where otherwise required by applicable law. Refunds are granted only in the circumstances described below and at Sevarat’s discretion when applicable criteria are met.
Eligibility for Refunds
a. Cancellations by Client
Clinical/On-site Nursing Visits: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled visit will receive a full refund of pre-paid visit fees. Cancellations between 24–48 hours will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations under 24 hours are non-refundable.
Telehealth Consultations: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the appointment will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
Training Courses & Workshops: Full refund if cancelled at least 14 days before the start date. 50% refund if cancelled 7–13 days before start. No refund within 7 days of start or after attendance begins.
Subscriptions/Memberships: Annual Subscriptions/Membership Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
b. Service Not Provided or Substantially Deficient
If Sevarat is unable to provide a prepaid Service (e.g., cancelled by Sevarat) or the Service provided is materially deficient relative to the agreed scope, Sevarat will offer, at client’s choice:
A full refund of prepaid amounts for the affected Service, or
A complementary replacement Service of equivalent value, subject to availability.
c. Errors and Duplicate Charges
If a duplicate charge or billing error occurs, Sevarat will promptly investigate and, if validated, refund the duplicate/incorrect amount.
Non‑Refundable Fees
Annual Membership fees, Annual Subscription Fees, Administrative, processing, registration, or convenience fees explicitly stated as non-refundable at time of purchase.
Fees for Services that have been fully rendered or for which the Client has received deliverables (including training access).
Fees resulting from no-shows where cancellation terms were not met.
Any fees paid to third-party providers (e.g., Transportation, Medical Specialists, specialist referrals, external labs) are subject to the third party’s refund policy.
Refund Process
To request a refund, contact Sevarat Customer Support by email or phone (details on invoice/website) within the timeframe specified above and provide: invoice number, client name, service date, reason for refund, and supporting documents where applicable.
Sevarat will acknowledge receipt within 3 business days and complete its review within 14 business days.
Approved refunds will be issued within 14 business days of approval to the original payment method. If that is not possible, Sevarat will issue a check or transfer after confirming client details.
Right to Withhold or Deduct
Sevarat may deduct outstanding balances, unpaid service fees, or lawful charges from any refund due. Refunds may be withheld until all outstanding obligations are resolved.
Dispute Resolution
If a refund request is denied and the client disputes the decision, the client may escalate to Sevarat’s Grievance Officer (contact details on the website). Unresolved disputes may be referred to arbitration or the competent consumer forum as per applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
Sevarat may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version published on our website or provided in written agreement at the time of purchase governs the transaction.
